Chamartín Station

Chamartín Station is the second most important train station in Madrid behind Atocha. It is the station in charge of communicating Madrid with the northwest of the Iberian peninsula.

Although the construction of the station was planned in 1933, it was not until 1967 when Chamartín began its railway activity. Between 1970 and 1975 it was remodeled and expanded to become the largest train station in Spain.
