Metro
A metro station is available at any airport terminal. You can take the line 8 from Barajas airport to Nuevos Ministerios (in the city centre). The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Nuevos Ministerios is a metro hub to take others lines to any other destination in Madrid centre and outskirts.
Metro is open from 6:00AM to 1:30AM every day. Please note that is also permitted to take a bike within the metro but with some restrictions: from Monday to Friday during rush hours bikes are not allowed (from 7:30 to 9:30, from 14:00 to 16:00 and from 18:00 to 20:00) – during weekends and public holidays bikes are allowed during all day.
Metro tickets with airport fee starts at 4.50€ and can cost up to 5€ depending on your final destination. You can purchase it from ticket machines located at Metro stations entry. If you plan to use the Metro system a lot during your visit, check the Madrid Tourist Travel Pass for zone. You can buy 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 days and you’ll be able to avoid paying an additional fee for the airport.
Bus
Airport Express buses at Madrid airport run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year..
The trip from Madrid-Barajas to Atocha Train station is approximately 40 minutes. The bus runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 35 minutes by night. From airport to Atocha there are only three stops - the corner of O'Donnell and Doctor Esquerdo (close to Parque del Retiro), Plaza de Cibeles (where you can take a metropolitan bus) and Atocha Station (only between 06:00 and 23:30). The bus is available at airport terminals T1,T 2 and T4. The price is 5€ and you can buy it directly onboard.
Train
The light rail (‘metro ligero’) is available from Terminal T4 to Chamartín station, Nuevos Ministerios, Atocha or Príncipe Pío. You can arrive to T4 by taking the free shuttle available at every terminal. The trip to Chamartín station is approximately 11 minutes long and the price for a single ticket is 4,50€. It runs from 6:00AM to 01:30AM with 8 minutes frequency all day (15 minutes by night).

Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (IATA: MAD, ICAO: LEMD) is the main international airport serving Madrid in Spain. In 2011 and 2010, over 49 million passengers used Madrid–Barajas, making it the country's largest and busiest airport, and in 2013 it was Europe's sixth busiest airport. It opened in 1928, and has grown to be one of the most important aviation centres of Europe. Located within the city limits of Madrid, just 9 km (5.6 mi) from the city's financial district and 13 km (8.1 mi) northeast of the Puerta del Sol, Madrid's historic centre. The airport name derives from the adjacent district of Barajas, which has its own metro station on the same rail line serving the airport. In 2014, following the death of former Spanish Prime Minister, Adolfo Suárez, the airport was renamed "Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez, Madrid–Barajas". This renaming seeks recognition for Suárez's role as the first Prime Minister of Spain after the restoration of democracy and his key participation in the Spanish Transition to Democracy.
Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are adjacent terminals that are home to SkyTeam and Star Alliance airlines, as well as Air Europa. Terminal 4 is home to Iberia, its franchise Air Nostrum and all Oneworld partner airlines. Gate numbers are continuous in terminals 1, 2 and 3 (A1 to E89), but are separately numbered in terminal 4.

Please read this first! We have listed some common questions and issues to assure a stress-free transfer.
My address is not listed in pickup or drop off list; how can I book? We are using Google Maps to identify addresses and points of interests in Madrid. For your convenience we have already included in the list some common locations, as Barajas airport or Atocha railways station. But for any other address, please write it in the desired box see how the autocompletion feature will suggests you the address. If you have any difficulty to find an address, maybe there is some mispelling issue. To fix it, try by putting the address directly in google maps and then copy the result in our booking page. If your destination is an hotel, you can also try directly with the hotel name. The building number is mandatory if you are using a pickup or destination address.
Arriving to the airport but I don't know which terminal; what I have do do? If you are requiring a pickup at the airport, the most important (and mandatory) information that we need is your flight number. With the flight number we will able to check your arrival terminal and also the expected arrival time (including any evental delay). Please simply select "Madrid airport" from the list of available pickup options and fill the flight number and the arrival time in the boxes that will appear below.
Few people but a lot of luggage; do I need a minivan? To identify the size of the vehicle needed, you can use this simple rule: take the biggest number between the number of people travelling and the number of suitcases. If you are a group of 4 people with 6 suitcases, you will need a minivan for 6 people. If only 3 people are travelling with 2 suitcases, you can choose a standard sedan for 3 people. in case of handluggage, please count 2 standard suitcases each 3 pieces of hand luggage.
I'm travelling with children; how can I specify the type of child seat required? If you need a child seat, please select it in our reservation form and add the age / weight of the young traveller in the additional rquirement of your reservation (last page of the booking form)
Why do I have to indicate my email and my mobile phone in the reservation form? Our system will confirm you the service by sending an email with your travel details and additional useful information for you. Please assure that the email indicated is correct and that you will be able to receive emails from third parties (also check your spam folder, please). Your phone number is also very important to contact you if the driver is not able to find you at the meeting point. Please assure that you have indicated a phone number reachable during your stay in Madrid and that you have eventually completed it with the international code required to call you from a Spanish number.
I would like to make a daytrip to Toledo; can I use the hourly hire option? The hourly hire tab (and tariffs) only can be used for tours within Madrid city centre (with a limited distance). If you want to book a tour to Madrid outskirts, airport or any other city outside Madrid area, the door-to-door option is required. You can specify up to 8 stops in your itinerary, indicating the required waiting time at any location.
Is my reservation for a shared transfer service? All reservations are for private transfers and your group will be the vehicle’s only passengers. This means no waiting for others, no queues and no additional stops before your final destination.
Where will the driver be waiting my group?
Arriving to the Airport: The driver will be waiting in the arrivals lounge of Madrid airport, after luggage claim and customs clearance. He will have a name board showing your name.
Transfers from hotel to Madrid Airport: If you leaving your hotel, the driver will meet you in the main lobby. If the pickup will be from a private apartment, please have your group waiting out front at requested pick-up time. Please provide us with a complete address and, if necessary some additional information to locate it.
